ELECTRICAL SAFETY TIPS

It is important to hire a licensed electrical contractor to have your electrical work done. All electrical work has to be installed according to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.

Receptacles

Don’t take chances with your families safety. The new electrical code that took effect on May 1st 2009 requires that all receptacles in living spaces of your home be tamper resistant. Children are curious and can experiment by trying to insert objects into receptacles. The tamper resistant receptacle will prevent the object from being inserted and making contact with the live part of the receptacle.
